About Us
Hi, I'm Farren, the heart behind Pikelu Pet Sitting and a lifelong animal lover dedicated to caring for your pets as if they were my own.
Since my earliest memories, animals have been a constant part of my life, bringing joy, companionship and purpose. I grew up in a rural setting surrounded by domestic pets, horses and Daisy, our much-loved house cow. I’ve had multiple horses of my own over the years, and I’ve always felt that life is better with animals in it - I wouldn’t be without pets of some kind.
Living in a rural community has also given me the opportunity to care for a wide range of animals for others, from sheep and alpacas to large groups of horses on studs and performance yards. Whether it’s a much-loved family pet, a paddock full of livestock or a competition horse, I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal and caring for them in a way that suits their individual needs and routine.
I understand how much trust it takes to leave someone else responsible for your animals and your home. That’s why I approach every visit with patience, kindness and the same level of care and attention I would want for my own. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind while you’re away, with dependable, personalised care and regular updates, so you can feel confident knowing your animals are happy, comfortable and in good hands.
